Julian is planning a trip to The Court Hill Center (which is the former Ridgeway YHA Hostel) on Friday 26th – Sunday 28th October (2 nights)   http://courthill.org.uk It should be possible to arrange for twin rooms and some limited single occupancy rooms. The price is £19.50 pppn. There is good walking nearby with the white horse not far off. All rooms have a maximum of 4 beds, they have wash basins but are not en-suite. We have options for food. There is a good self catering kitchen, hostel food (if booked in advance) or a good pub about 3 miles away. We can decide. If you want to come could you send Colin a deposit of £15.

Autumn Colours in Ashridge

This walk takes in some of most spectacular woodland during Autumn in Ashridge. The trail includes Lady's Walk, Berkhamstead Common and Ashridge Park. A moderate level walk, mainly flat, with a few inclines. Start and finish at the visitor's centre. Lunch stop at the Brownlow cafe at the end of the walk or bring a packed lunch.
